Queensland scientists have have found an unusual way to learn about stress in Bilbies. The research by Griffith University scientists state that Bilbies in captivity breeding programs have little stress hormone levels. Scientist are very happy about this because this means if Bilbies are happy they will breed. Scientests in a Griffith University lab are collecting Bilby dung from the wild than freeze it and put it through a Coffee grinder and then dry it. Then that they look at it with a machine. By doing this they can see stress hormones! Isn't that amazing! This amazing research also shows that semi wild Bilbies have more stress hormones than ones in captivity! This research has been published in the European Journal Of Wildlife Research. This is such important research because this is the first time that scientist's can tell how stressed Bilbies are properly. Before they had to catch them and take a blood sample, to see their stress levels. Of couse they are going to be stressed after being caught!

Some of the pages it has are a home, about palm oil, products with palm oil, animals effected by palm oil, videos , contact and more. You can learn about some of the animals effected by deforestation from Palm oil plantations like the Bengal Tiger, Sumatran Tiger, Sumartran Orangutan, Clouded Leopard, Sun Bear and more.
